黃勝，1969年生于江西上饒，1993年畢業于景德鎮陶瓷學院雕塑專業，現為景德鎮陶瓷大學陶瓷美術學院院長、教授、博士研究生導師。中國美術家協會陶瓷藝術委員會委員、中國美術家協會會員、中國雕塑學會會員、中國工藝美術學會雕塑藝術委員會常務理事、曾竹韶雕塑藝術教學金評審委員會委員、中國青少年雕塑大賽評委會委員、江西省現代陶藝學會副會長、江西省高等學校首屆金牌教授、江西省“四個一批”文化名家、2019年獲中國陶瓷工業協會頒發的“中國陶瓷藝術與設計杰出貢獻獎”。
